Plano is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Plano follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The store is almost an hour from the town where I live but absolutely worth the drive. They were very busy when I arrived but I still felt like I received the VIP treatment. Zac was a great help, stayed with me while I picked numerous cichlids from different tanks. I left my cooler at home and he even found a styrofoam cooler to pack my fish in. I purchased about 40 pounds of water which he carried out to my truck. So helpful!!!! I will be returning this weekend to stock up a new aquarium at my workplace. The cichlids I purchased last week for my home tank are all still healthy and happy. Great experience!

Been coming here for about 9 years, and always a great experience. Wonderful variety, and always healthy. I love that they will test your water for you and guide you on how to fix it, need be. Over the years I have also had to re-home some of my babies who outgrew my aquarium, and I bring them here with confidence they will go to a good home. Meredith is AMAZING!!! She has been patiently helping my son and me with a conundrum. We set our aquarium back up after a hiatus. I’ve had fish my entire life, and never had a problem. For some reason this tank set up has just been a disaster. Meredith has been guiding us through this fiasco, as well as teaching us a lot about various species, water levels, plants, etc. We are very grateful to live so close to such a wonderful shop. I was about to set this thing on fire!

Knowledgeable staff, and a hot spot for local enthusiasts or beginners looking for help. I only wish they were in stock of their plants and certain fish on all days of the week, but their stuff sells out pretty fast. I recommend going on a Thursday or Friday, which is the day they typically restock. Early Saturday could work too. It can become slim pickings on other days.

got my neons and betta fish here. Good quality fish and everyone was helpful and kind. I also traded in my tiger barbs and cherry barbs here.

Went to browse and get shrimp. The staff were very friendly and attentive checking in regularly. All my shrimp lived after acclimation even the littler guy, so definitely better odds than Petco or any other pet chain. They had a great selection of fresh water fish, they have saltwater too I just didn't pay much attention to those. Once I upgrade to a bigger tank I'll definitely be back to get Brochis!
